The super fibre in your garden that you think of as weeds!

Did you know that dandelions are an AMAZING addition to your dog’s food bowl and one of the top 5 nutritious plants in the world containing loads of vitamin C, beta carotene, vitamin K and potassium.

Dandelions are also full of prebiotic fibres, gut healing inulin, polyphenols that cleanse the liver and other anti-inflammatory agents. You can also make an oil or salve of the plant for topical use because it’s amazing at healing cracked paws and wounds.

You can serve the whole plant, including roots and leaves. As long as you know the plants have not been sprayed with weed killer, you can just pluck them and add them to your dog’s food bowl as is. However, many dogs are picky so it might be easier to chop it up into small pieces or hide it in some tasty bone broth.

Bon appétit!
