Essential oils and herbs to calm your anxious dog

I did some zoopharmacognosy with Bruce tonight.

I used to do this all the time with him but I forgot about it for a while. This is a practise where I am providing oils and food to let him help himself. He is inhaling the oils and eating the herbs. He’s in charge and he chooses how much he wants and his body will tell him when he’s done. It’s amazing to see how instinctual our dogs are and I’m amazed every time.

If you’re interested in learning more I recommend Caroline Ingraham’s book “Help your dog heal itself” (affiliate link).
